Come Down and Fly With Me

“Come Down and Fly With Me” KDSF-National Centre Charity Marathon Line Dance
The KDSF National Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children with Down Syndrome with tax-exempt status. They provide the Early Intervention Programme for children with Down Syndrome from 2 months – 6 years old.

Annually they require a minimum of RM650,000 to operate the Centre. To manage and run the Centre well, they need to continue to appeal to the public for their generosity and support as their Centre is largely dependent on public donations. Besides that annually they have to organize fundraising events to help generate more funds for their Centre.

Unlike the previous years, this year they will be organizing a Charity Marathon Line Dance which they hope can last for 10 hours. Their Charity Marathon Line Dance of 10 hours may be the longest marathon Line Dance organized in Malaysia. They would like to invite Line Dance Teachers together with their students to join them in this meaningful and charitable event. Their target is to raise not less than RM50,000 and they expect to have a record breaking number of 1,500 dancers. Each dancer will have to pay an entrance fee of RM35.00 to participate in the line dancing which would include a T-shirt and a goody bag of interesting items.

Besides the Charity Marathon Line Dance they also will have a “mini” bazaar. Besides selling light snacks and finger food they will have vendors selling handicrafts, costume accessories, handbags etc. They welcome vendors to come and participate in this bazaar. A contribution of RM300.00/stall is required for the reservation of stalls by vendors.

Donation of RM100 and above will be issued tax exempt receipts.
This record-breaking event will be held in July:
Venue : LBS HALL, SJK (C) SG. WAY
Jln SS9A/1, Seri Setia, 47300 P.J
Date : Sunday 31st July 2011, 9.00am – 6.00pm
Entrance Fee : RM35.00 per person (inclusive of T-shirt)
Contact : KDSF at 03-7803 0179 – Angie Heng, Jennifer Lim or Syimma.

Book Binding Workshop 8&9

Hello there, I have posted the wrong tentative date for workshop 8. Thanks to Shirl that spotted on the mistake. I am so ahead of time and put down August instead of July:P

Please find the new date, 90% confirm LOL:

Workshop 8>>>>> 7&8 July (thursday & friday)
Workshop 9>>>>> 23&24 July (Sat & Sun)
http://little-syam.blogspot.com/p/book-binding-workshop.html

I will not have any workshop on August due to Ramadhan. Which is good that I could focus on preparing myself for KL Design Week on September and also dedicated myself in preparing meal and Terawih prayer... So my next workshop going to be end of September or early October.

On top of Urbanscapes/16 July & Creative Muse/17 July...I will participate in another 2 Bazaars which is an arts market - "Pasar BazaaaA(confirmed) will be held in conjunction with Filmmakers Anonymous' (FA) 5th Birthday Bash:

Details you should know:
What? "Pasar BazaaaAA" in conjunction with Filmmakers Anonymous Birthday Bash
Where? White Box MAP Kl, Solaris Dutamas.
When? Sat 30th July

Another Bazaar that I am hoping to join the following day on 31st July was a charity bazaar; to raise fund for the KIWANIS Down Syndrome Foundation. I am hoping to join this before Ramadhan for a good caused:)
