I am back at Fabric Fanatic to have my book binding workshop before Ramadhan and raya break. I can’t remember my last workshop here but it’s always nice to be back at @wishfulkelly fabric and craft supply shop. She been supporting me since the very beginning❤️

Great Moment:)

I had such a wonderful time on Saturday & Sunday at Fabric Fanatics. My first time having my workshop at Fabric Fanatics new outlet in Summit USJ. Love Kelly's new shop, much bigger and spacious too. She sponsored fabric for the cover of my student books too. Beautiful collections...Thankssss Kelly. Check Fabric Fanatics out next to Toy City at the 1st floor.

21 students for the first day (14 July) and another 13 for Sunday(15 July) Some attending a single slot and some attending both slot. A different energy and such colourful characters I had in every workshop as always..and I just love to look at happy faces, satisfied with the creation they have made. That make all my hectic gone.

I am grateful to have Eita to help. Thank you so much for all the support from participants...till we meet again ya:)

this is work in progress for souvenir gift for a local place of interest.

I am making 4 book, using off paper this time around; this is one of the cover.

Week with Full of Excitement

Week that cramped with so many things.. Me and Rachel went for material shopping for another order of 40 books I received. They will ship the book to Vienna this weekend. I dont think I could handle it alone with the time frame I had...I decided to ask for help from my group, and dearest Angles Rachel, Shasha and Syeken are agreed to help me execute the book...

I am being panicking when the client ask for 100 book, then after compromise, we decided 40 is the  logic number...pheww.

The help from the angle are truly appreciated considering the overlaping job I had at this moment...

Starting with yesterday doing shopping for materials, done the silkscreen for cover...I think the job was done really smooth as what I had planned. ...I have added on more colour for cover...

I am taking a break today so I can concentrate on 2 graphic jobs.. and the binding will be continued tomorrow.

House a bit mess, and I am so looking forward for Ramadhan break, where I had loads of plan to rearrange and doing spring cleaning for the house and my tiny craft studio.

Book of Spells

Been running around to get this book done. My printer machine gone kaput, the silkscreen option seems impossible, so I am sending for a digital printing, loves the detail of illustration.

I am handling the printing part and the binding....but the process to get it done was so tedious with the self hand cut and get the paper right.

I am waiting for client to pass me the quill before making a hole for binding...Will share with all of you the final outcome soon. These binding job done for Jokee, the deal done online, never met her personally, but she gave me link to her beautiful website http://Coochicoo.com.my. Beyond Book

I am organizing a monthly challenge to all member of my LittleSyam book binding group. I am not sure how many would really want to participate. I definitely in and on the game... I am excited, this way I could challenge myself based on selected theme.

What I am planning to do was at the end of this I be able to collect the book and propose an exhibition out of it. All members can sell or keep, doing charity etc totally up to them. I could picture the book beyond than physical and functional book. It will have message and give a greater meaning than only just a book.

That was where my Workshop 16 going to be held too. 

The Lollipop House does not sell only clothes but also many other craft products designed by Chris the owner and other products from local crafters too. Check her lovely place located at Kota Damansara.

Farida Aryani

 Here would like to share customize order from Farida Aryani that wanted a note book of A5 size. 

She wanted it to be double thicker than what I normally do, with casing like a sleeve
where she can reuse again and again.

She chose pink fabric and I handwritten her name on natural fabric and place it on book 

as well as on the sleeve cover. I hope she will like it:)
