House kind of mess at this moment with drilling and hacking on porch side...I hate renovation, but we do need fence and neat tiles for the porch. Mr hubby are contributing money, so I don't have much say on the outcome. We both are so individual, when he talks is when I should keep quite. Will give a bit of trust on his judgement, while I have so much things in my plate at this moment .
So we will wait and see...

Few plants has been thrown away and that make me a bit sad:( I reluctant to throw it because each of them have a soft spot in my heart and green always keep my creativity afloat. Siggghhh tutup sebelah mata:(

I am excited too to see the final result from my Applied Design's class. Going to have internal presentation on Thursday, the peak of what I've been teaching them and to see the result from what they've learnt. Will capture pictures during the presentation and their final brand identity products. I can't tell how much I am proud of each of them.

Going to be a busy week as always...Have a great week folks///syam

vintage illustration

I been keeping this book that I found from Pay for Less Book Store for many years. The 1958 classic example of perfect binding cover, letter press with nice illustration. I am attracted to the visual illustrated by famous legendary illustrator such as Lawrence Beall Smith, Leornard Weisgard, Susanne Suba, Herman B. Vestal etc. I almost forgot that I am having this book until Syamil pointed out on the recent Gulliver's Travels movie starring by Jack Black.... He said " Ibu, this movie was adapted from Gulliver in Lilliput, but the plot has been modernised"... wow I never expected that he could noticed it, and the word modernise that came out from him kind of amaze me...

Here I would like to share the illustration, strictly came from a visual person:)

Happy Rabbit Year

Happy Chinese New Year and Happy Holidays to all. May this year brings you lots of Good Health , Wealth , Happiness and Prosperity! Gōng xǐ fā cái

Rabbit
1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999

People born in the year of the rabbit often make ideal diplomats or politicians. Rabbit person has grace, culture and beautiful manners. Although rabbit people get on well with everyone, at heart they are basically reserved creatures, and are only really happy when they are engrossed in some sort of scholarly or intellectual activity. They are just too sensitive to the world around them. They are just not able to thrive in a competitive or aggressive environment, and it makes them anxious if someone forces them to take risks. Their inner world is simply too delicate for unsettled or unpredictable situations, and they tend to create a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere on a hunch. This character trait makes them very hospitable and attentive people, who take care of those around. The average rabbit person emphasizes the importance of small details. They pay attention to everything from colour, design and furniture to food and conversation. And only when they are sure that everything has been arranged as they wished, these people can relax and have fun. Person born in the year of rabbit often leads a conservative lifestyle, where one of the most important things is their security. This quality has a negative side also. Opting for safety over risk they may miss good opportunities. This does not imply that these people are frivolous or irresponsible, for when they truly believe in some thing they are serious, perseverant and capable.

Calm as they are, it is not easy to provoke rabbit people. They are sentimental and compassionate. Yes, and they cry easily too. They can be moved by personal problems you share with them. Therefore, if you work as a salesman for a living, you will have much better luck with rabbit people - Nine out of Ten Rabbit people will definitely buy your products!
