Craft Workshop at Krafest:)

We had our craft workshop last Saturday and I am conducting the Japanese Stab Binding for morning slot with the help from Sweii & Lina, whereby the afternoon slot it was Lina's turn to conduct the wire work workshop and Sweii and me are giving our hand. All went smooth… The response was so over whelming:) me, Lina & Sweii had such a great time!

Few familiar faces came to give support Lei Ching, Philip, Adou, Dennis, Fin, Mike, Sam, CK, Razell, Michelle, Ivian. They are all my anak2 and I felt touched that they had shown up…

Thank you so much to all of you that had came and spent your precious Saturday, having fun making craft. The workshop was a way to share a skill and for us to have some interaction… and I hope all of you had a good time:)

LAPAN Showcase at The Stage, Wolo Hotel:)

The day had finally arrived.. I never been proud than this. This Krafest make my relationship with Sweii & Lina becoming much closer. What a wonderful journey we had been through together, and I will treasure this precious moment always.

The Krafest will be end this Sunday and please dropby if you have time. This showcase was an effort of love, full of passion and drive with hardworking.

I extremely felt so relief after the opening, ignore the hiccup and imperfection. The fact is I am so proud that I had done this with in a very tight schedule. There are always room for improvement. This is just a beginning for something that much bigger.

I am feeling so overwhelming by the support and trust given by brand consultant (VERSO&RECTO) that believe in our ability and opportunity laid down by property owner Empire Group.

Hello Busy Day

JANUARY 18, 2014
I had my first children workshop at Eco Park for their kid's club. Taught them a simple note book with silkscreen method apply on the cover. It was like going out from KL for half a day once a month to teach all this kid art & craft.

I had such a wonderful moment looking at their face eagerly ready to learn and explore.
I like working with my client; easy, very supportive and trust on what I wanna teach.

My workshop not  going to be a typical drawing class, but I will teach a different modules every month, where I hope the kid will gain a skill and think out of the box.  Creativity to be applied on the functional art.

I am grateful for the opportunity given:) Something that I am looking forward every month. Definitely going to have lots of fun too:)

JANUARY 22. 2014

Went up again to Penang to replenish more stuff, I am so happy to stock more of my products since I had so little stock on the earlier set up. I managed to create more books, notebook, keychain, bring more painting and dolls:) Took a train ride to Ipoh, and Lina will drive us all from there.

I almost being left when I reached KL Sentral right on the dot. Phewwww… I normally will use STAR to KL Sentral but hubby decided to sent me that day due to big luggage that I need to carry with me. Taking a STAR LRT ride with big luggage maybe not a good idea by looking at the peak hour and amount of people are heading to work.

Unfortunately the traffic was bad that day and hubby was driving like a FI driver. Phewww my heart never beat this fast before:) Real adrenaline rush:) But I managed to reach 2 minutes before the train took off, running quickly to platform with luggage in my hand seems so adventurous.

We slept at Lina's home, had a nice lunch at Burps & Giggles in Ipoh,
nasi lemak and went back the next day

Hello People:)

It was such a long time since I had any nap during the day. But today the weather kind of make me feel asleep. I am realise that I have been working really hard since the opening of the shop. Time are so limited nowadays. It was like a break when my turn taking care of the shop, because what is supposed to be two weeks break, before the rotation start again not totally a break.

I am glad that having a constant custom order….and some ad hoc job in between. I try not to take any graphic job nowadays, but there are still some coming in that I hardly resist. Do you know how difficult to say NO whenever people asking for help?

LAPAN will have an extension of two months at Art Row. I thinkPublika was such a wonderful venue and I am ok with the low traffic, and the capacity just nice for me to cope with production etc. I am excited whenever my turn taking care of LAPAN; to be able to talk and meet with many wonderful people. I always strive and make as much as sale to every LAPAN team. I am excited when people ask, if our products are made locally. I am sure there are many local talent around. We just fortunate that we had the courage to take the challenge, to be on our own. Believing in our passion and following own instinct.

Having limited time to blog lately, but I do update my facebook constantly. Thanks to instagram app:) I do not need to edit and upload pictures anymore. Suit for someone that always on the move like me.

What ashamed, having it like this. I just hate the insensitivity by the authority to preserved history.
I dont think building up taller concrete make us civilised. The sky scrapper seem like an eye sore,
when it doesn't contribute to aesthetic of environment and ambience at all.

But believe me it need lots of hard work too, by juggling so much things in between. Go through error and experimenting. I supposed I was designed to be strong, committed and never give up. When reaching this age, risk is just a challenge, turning back is not an answer, when every difficult ride and adrenaline rush will only make me even stronger.
