Sneak Peek

I am basically extremely busy at this moment:( You can tell by looking at the number of article published in my blog space here. The space & location for KL Design Week has been confirmed. I am excited and nervous at the same time....The show going to be held at Publika Solaris Dutamas on 16 to 25 September. Minus the festive holiday.. I have more less one week to prepare everything and I am progressing very very slow. Perhaps I am taking this a bit more serious because the high expectation and exposure are both from local & international.

For anyone that doesn't have any clue what is KLDW all about, here are some details:
“REACH FOR THE STARS”

The thrust of the KLDW festival idea is to produce a skilled, qualified, experienced creative human capital. The festival is to instill, stimulate and magnify our country’s creative productivity by providing the latest information, knowledge and experience through a series of educational symposia and exhibition experience series.

“When you reach for the stars, you may not quite get one, but you won't come up with a handful of mud either.” – Leo Burnett

The phrase “Reaching for the Stars” conjures up images of magic that seems to open the doorway to amazing possibilities. Therefore, we deploy “Reaching for the Stars” as a motivational tagline, a spiritual slogan to gather individuals in challenging this new global economic trend -- “The Creative Economy”. In our context, design activity is of paramount importance in order to transform ideas into value and to link creativity with innovation and production, for the growth of the creative economy. “Reaching for the Stars” is about cultivating the new generation to be a star in the forefront to the eyes of the world. For Malaysia, for Vision 2020!

With the aspiration that KLDW Festival will becomes more cohesive, we hope to see the emergence of freshly shaped creative superstars; whose energy, passion and optimism diffuse throughout the globe and further inspire the minds of a new generation that will power this new economy.
