What is the meaning of luxury to me? To be able to have fully control of what I am doing. To always have extra time despite of always not having much time to spend.

My priority have change so much since 3 years ago. If career always important before, nowadays I am working on my own, having full control of my own destination. What is more luxurious than this?

Looking at small detail, like a pause that give me ultimate solace, 
even the quietness of night can't gave:)

It's been a while since I update my blog. I am busy adjusting my life, having real adrenaline rush and exciting ride on roller coaster. It was wonderful journey so far since the opening of the shop. I never been working this hard but the feeling was so great. It was like a last chance and I have to make sure it works just fine.

Doing handmade stuff was really challenging, I am working non stop trying to restock as much. I was lucky having Gigi Gee and Oh&Ah under the roof of LAPAN. We take turn to take care of the shop..and time flies super fast and now we almost one month being a resident of Art Row. The traffic was quite low on certain time, and picking up during weekends. It was truly an exciting journey to me.

Having strangers giving compliment, followers & students that came giving support and friends pop by saying hello, was such a huge encouragement. I am on the midst making new stuff…my brain was loaded with 1001 project, and how I wish I have more than 2 hands, and one day have more than 24 hours…

I had my break this few days and coming back to LAPAN on Friday, Saturday & Sunday for a workshop. This two weeks not really a break to me after all, but being away for while having my productive time producing, thinking and recharging before my turn on the following two weeks. Not forgetting spending quality time with love one:)

I had pretty limited time lately.. Time seems flies too fast.. And I had so much things need to do. Stock are running low. I had to replenish books and new products. Not that I had many before either:) But some have been sold:) yeaaay..

Few custom orders need to be done too; a photo album, some requested dolls and graphic job that have been delayed for such a long time.

Here I would like to share some running around for 1 week. I expecting more crowd for the shop this weekend since the Christmas Bazaar are taking place in PUBLIKA this Sunday.

So if you ever happen doing your last minute Christmas shopping, do drop by at LAPAN, lot 55, Art Row Publika. It was not like everyday you will found the place like this where Malaysian Crafter are making various art & craft under one roof.

LAPAN

Just another day before trow, Saturday such big day - a shop opening at Lot 55, Art Row, Publika Solaris Dutamas. Still many things to do but so far everything looks quite good.

I will build up products, creating new one within this 3 months time. I still have few orders to deliver before Christmas too.

Please drop sometimes, this collaboration was pretty amazing. We are friend that try to make a different in Art&Craft scene in Malaysia. Running away from traditional way, expressing our creativity and channel our passion through each of our products.

Here are some info about LAPAN:

Lapan/8 is a pop-up retail store in Publika, Solaris Dutamas, Kuala Lumpur starting from 15th December 2012 to 15th March 2013.

Lapan, meaning 8 in Malaysia language. Is a beautiful number where it representing Balance, Infinity & Good Luck! Most of all, it represents us, as the total number of person in this collaboration consists of 8 person. This alliance was founded with a desire to introduce and bring local talents with pure artistry and craftsmanship to a different level.

It brings in the collaboration between Malaysian designers Oh&Ah / Little Syam / GigiGee / R.A.W Art, and provides a wide range of beautiful handmade and design goods – stationery, jewelry, home décor, art prints, toy & dolls, handmade books, wireworks, silk-screen product and clay works for customer selection. Design workshop such as bookbinding will be organized for adult and kids.
