Masak-masak at BIG

Christine called me, if I want to join masak-masak class in BIG and learn how to make pasta from scratch. Looking at my tight schedule I won't be able to squeeze my time further. Looks like I don't have much time left for myself nowadays… But I need a break..

Arissa and Syamil will have co curriculum on Wednesday, so I thought why not, just put the other job aside. I need me time, and cooking definitely will pull me back from floating:) This is my third time joining the cooking class with them. So I just went, and enjoy every lesson and tips.. always an awesome session, very generous knowledge. And she made cooking seems so easy.

So it's okay to take a break for a while, perhaps when I come back to my job I will look at it in better perspective and fresh.

When you see lots of cooking photos from me, is when I need a break from craft. I normally will not follow exactly from the chef recipe, I will modify with what ever ingredient I have around me. I just need to be confident, understand the basic ingredient, feel the ingredient same as I feel every character of materials in crafting. No exception, it's a process and journey, that only you can feel. The rest is just fine and embrace the process.

Me and my friend was discussing the other day, the meaning of real luxury. I interpret luxury by having an extra time, be able to do what I passionate about, having a good health and the dollar part not even in the top 5 list. Even to have a good sleep is luxury. Be able to live comfortably, and spending money on good groceries, without making so much comparison. Purchase something based on quality and not because of the price.

I being pampered by treat myself with a good food. The cooking definitely tasted better by having better quality butter, or good flour…The energy definitely will channel into a happy meal. Nothing can't beat home cook food. Am I a good cook? I just cook every meal with love...

Life is happy busy:)

Life been so busy, I am rushing out to complete few products before Ramadhan. I have not post any story and picture from my instagram will tell the story of my daily life activities .

This is paper mache that the kid will learn during the school holiday art workshop 3, 6 & 7 June.
One from 3 products they will learn..

I have few orders for our adventure book to complete:)
This one for Rya from UK, This book are made for her newborn baby Russell.
She will document all the adventure and will be given to him when he's 18 years old.
Very thoughtful:) I normally got order for a wedding, but this is extra special:)

It was like making it to a different level.

I experimenting with arabic letter for my Islamic Art Museum exhibition.
I am glad to be invited for the second time for their International Museum Open Day.

Paper Beads Workshop at Setia Eco Park

I do not realise how fast the time has gone by. And it's time to have another children workshop at Setia Eco Park. I don't have much picture to capture…been too busy having 20 kids, the highest number so far…All girls busy making their own paper beads and they will make pair of earring, bracelet, and necklace. Same cute faces coming and also few new faces…

I am amaze with different character I met. Paper beads train the motor skill of kids, and they will be better by keep doing it. Some kids are creative enough, being meticulous, thinking out of the box and I just enjoy every experience I had, which I think I learn from them too. What a great day I had:)

Kiera, she always come early:) She progressing very well and have high confident in her craft.
Posing with her creation:)
Johanna & Sophie, sisters, regular participant:)
Kiki & her dad, good for the bonding:) Also one of the regular.
They coming a bit late… but they manage to complete with their mom help,
both are so cute, I can't resist to take photo with them:)
Yong 1 & 2, sisters.. The Yong senior are super meticulous.. She create beads lika a pro:)
