LAPAN products are now available at Bonton Langkawi…. Flew to Langkawi, purposely to set up our corner in their souvenir shop and spent one wonderful night and fly back to KL the next day. I am so thankful for Narelle hospitality that being so accommodative during our stay. I am bless to meet her that always believe in our passion…She been pushing us and to have her trust to carry our products in Penang and Langkawi is always a bless.  I am being thankful for this opportunity:)

This is the reason why I am not reluctant to involve in the exhibition.
 Maybe is a good break to me too, been working non stop since the showcase.
The invitation was made by someone that being so supportive towards what I am doing.

I need a break

Mom gave me this plant few years back.. I am waiting for the flower that only came out twice a year.
It was sign of spring in my own world and I call it white daffodil

Taking a break mean having a good food. The sprout taste so good with avocado and scramble egg.

The studio was full of dust, there are still many progress to make.. I am waiting for my palette to arrive.
I am not going to buy any from Ikea, but to get Wak Nan to build a few accordingly to my need.
And this cat is my first visitor. She keeps coming back and knock on my door:)

Nothing better than to be away from KL. I brough Arissa and Syamil to experience the KTM ride to Gemas.
I miss my mom and my dad tremendously.
Due to my showcase in Wolo I wont be able to spend my Raya Haji with my family this year:(
The journey seems very nice but there are some sacrifice need to be made. 

I love my morning in kampung..looking at mom;s garden and the kabus was so serene:)

Studio

My life now was not planned accordingly as it used to be before. I am brave enough to take a risk and always to follow my instinct in making my own decision. I've been eyeing this space in Desa Pandan and saw TO LET signage and feel like to check it out. The rental are quite expensive and definitely will eat up my not so much income. But to work from my small home studio is no longer valid looking at mountain of material I have.

Of course there are still risk calculation need to be made to see if I could sustain the space but my desire to have my own space all this time is so overwhelming. I have few friends that seem so supportive and said yes let's do it.. but as expected when the time to commit, there are none that brave enough. But it doesn't matter.. I don't have to wait for anyone, I am determine the space are meant to be the best birthday gift ever. I been avoiding a commitment and this is not for me to prove to anyone but my own self. This is a progress I need to make and to have comfortable space is not free. And that's reality.

I have one month to do the renovation before renting it officially starting December. I have so much to do… I am basically will tear down all the room and will reconstruct the whole space. I want an open space.. with a dedicate workshop, shop, kitchen, sewing and working space.. will have my little surau too, all built accordingly to the practicality. I was introduced to Wak Nan that can only help me after working hour like 3 hours per day.

With such tight budget and without help from anyone, I managed to do the renovation at least close to what I have in mind… Hubby help me to moving my stuff from home, I recycled and reuse whatever I have. I have nothing to rush so all the work will progress slowly for the whole month of November. Perhaps to have workshop in December here is not realistic…Mountain of stuff still need to repack and organise but looking at the space slowly coming together what make me so proud..and yeayy I made it:)

It was like workshop marathon having two workshop in one day…phew. Date has been fixed I just need to concentrate to finish it:)

Good Bye Happy Moment

It's been such a long time since my last post. Almost two month to be precise. To have a showcase at Wolo was such a bless plus the coverage received and it was such a sweet closure for 2014. I can never trade the experience spent with Lina & Sweii, been doing this with such a limited time and constraint and with full of passion towards what we been doing.

It seems that the opportunity to do the showcase was like pay time for all the hard work all this time:)

2 weeks plus one month preparation was a precious time.
Looking at the space being emptied seems pretty sad to me personally.
It was such a very important milestone to me:)
