Oh YES

You don’t have to get a job that makes others feel comfortable about what they perceive as your success. You don’t have to explain what you plan to do with your life. You don’t have to justify your education by demonstrating its financial rewards. You don’t have to maintain an impeccable credit score. Anyone who expects you to do any of those things has no sense of history or economics or science or the arts.

You have to pay your own electric bill. You have to be kind. You have to give it all you got. You have to find people who love you truly and love them back with the same truth.
But that’s all.

Sugar, The Rumpus Advice Column #72

You've got to be true to yourself because at the end of the day we only answerable to own self not to anybody else. I had stop measure everything by dollar and cents. I try my very best to live as decent as I can, being moderate in everything, not that I have a lot of money before either, but by doing what I truly love all the hectic does not matter anymore. Every dollar and cents that I spend and share with people I love seems more meaningful, I am so proud that I earned everything through the hardship and I appreciate it even better. I do not live based on people expectation anymore, do not have to answer to anyone but myself. This small little thing what I call luxury.

I had to make a few big decision last two days. Being invited to be part of prestigious project to showcase my art, when at the very last minute I had to call it off due to situation that my heart do not agree to. When I believe I do not want to be dictated by anyone. When I don't have to face anymore rude people that so self centred and do not know how respect people at all. I am glad that I have courage to say NO, and to be involve in the situation that make me feel uneasy is the last thing I want to do nowadays.

And this three days I am so relief that I can take proper nap… rather than struggling to complete the project  and work with somebody that I do not like to:)

Paper Card Holder

What is the meaning of luxury to me? To be able to have fully control of what I am doing. To always have extra time despite of always not having much time to spend.

My priority have change so much since 3 years ago. If career always important before, nowadays I am working on my own, having full control of my own destination. What is more luxurious than this?

Design B front & back

Luxury mean doing thing spontaneous and it works.
And this is my recent product which I follow my instinct to do it. None are the same.

I write quite a few words nowadays… been busy as always. We normally take turn to take care of the shop. It going to be my turn next week, and we normally will have 2 weeks break in between.

Time I normally use to create new products, replenish art and craft, doing bit of graphic job and replacing time spending quality time with family. But previous two week kind of bit hectic due to water shortage. With loads of washing and cleaning need to be done, thing becoming too difficult. I am glad they had overcome the situation, considering water as a vital thing in life. Gosh how did this happened?

I like this shop, where all races sitting in one table , eating together…selling rojak, drink, and nasi campur, completely owned by 3 different races…You can hear different language one time like a very harmonious song, completely different but a perfect tune…

Quote of the Day:)

It's just human. We all have the jungle inside of us. We all have wants and needs and desires, strange as they may seem. If you stop to think about it, we're all pretty creative, cooking up all these fantasies. it's like a kind of poetryDiane Frolov and Andrew Schneider

Hello There

Looking at small detail, like a pause that give me ultimate solace,
even the quietness of night can't gave:)

It's been a while since I update my blog. I am busy adjusting my life, having real adrenaline rush and exciting ride on roller coaster. It was wonderful journey so far since the opening of the shop. I never been working this hard but the feeling was so great. It was like a last chance and I have to make sure it works just fine.

Doing handmade stuff was really challenging, I am working non stop trying to restock as much. I was lucky having Gigi Gee and Oh&Ah under the roof of LAPAN. We take turn to take care of the shop..and time flies super fast and now we almost one month being a resident of Art Row. The traffic was quite low on certain time, and picking up during weekends. It was truly an exciting journey to me.

Having strangers giving compliment, followers & students that came giving support and friends pop by saying hello, was such a huge encouragement. I am on the midst making new stuff…my brain was loaded with 1001 project, and how I wish I have more than 2 hands, and one day have more than 24 hours…
