Happy Rabbit Year

Happy Chinese New Year and Happy Holidays to all. May this year brings you lots of Good Health , Wealth , Happiness and Prosperity! Gōng xǐ fā cái

Rabbit
1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999

People born in the year of the rabbit often make ideal diplomats or politicians. Rabbit person has grace, culture and beautiful manners. Although rabbit people get on well with everyone, at heart they are basically reserved creatures, and are only really happy when they are engrossed in some sort of scholarly or intellectual activity. They are just too sensitive to the world around them. They are just not able to thrive in a competitive or aggressive environment, and it makes them anxious if someone forces them to take risks. Their inner world is simply too delicate for unsettled or unpredictable situations, and they tend to create a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere on a hunch. This character trait makes them very hospitable and attentive people, who take care of those around. The average rabbit person emphasizes the importance of small details. They pay attention to everything from colour, design and furniture to food and conversation. And only when they are sure that everything has been arranged as they wished, these people can relax and have fun. Person born in the year of rabbit often leads a conservative lifestyle, where one of the most important things is their security. This quality has a negative side also. Opting for safety over risk they may miss good opportunities. This does not imply that these people are frivolous or irresponsible, for when they truly believe in some thing they are serious, perseverant and capable.

Calm as they are, it is not easy to provoke rabbit people. They are sentimental and compassionate. Yes, and they cry easily too. They can be moved by personal problems you share with them. Therefore, if you work as a salesman for a living, you will have much better luck with rabbit people - Nine out of Ten Rabbit people will definitely buy your products!

Sewing and drilling session
Time flies super fast today...and my LittleSyam Workshop 3 went well so far. Another day to go. Attended by 7 girls this time ..

and as usual I am so happy being out from the house, and I am so looking forwards to share the knowledge with this 7 students that eagerly interested to learn the skill.
Carolyn borong the ribbon for her upcoming project
During lunch time we all went for a short field trip to Pudu...place that I considered a material heaven for book binder like me and it is close to my house...There are many shops I wanna show them like paper shop..glue shop... and the auntie that make a bag from recycle fabric..but the 1 and half hours just not enough.. We all went mad with so many things. But unfortunately need to rush back, beat the time to learn the second binding technique, Kettle Stitch Binding for afternoon session.

Trip to Pudu..Thanks Zaklean to drive us...
We had a nice caramel cake for afternoon break, Shereen baked and personally deliver it to the studio....I forgot to capture her Caramel Cake...and it's all safe in our tummy:P

Meet up with this all nice people make me looking forwards for another day tomorrow... My day felt shorter. In a way we all had the same common passion.. Good that the workshop could unite them under one roof.

Eleven Hints for Life

1. It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return. But what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel.

2. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go.

3. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

4. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

5. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone-but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

6. Don't go for looks, they can deceive. Don't go for wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day
seem bright.

7. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be. Because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

8. Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the person too.

9. A careless word may kindle strife. A cruel word may wreck a life. A timely word may level stress. But a loving word may heal and bless.

10. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

11. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.

Creative Indulgence

Graffiti often has a reputation as part of a subculture that rebels against authority, although the considerations of the practitioners often diverge and can relate to a wide range of attitudes. The developments of graffiti art which took place in art galleries and colleges as well as "on the street" or "underground", contributed to the resurfacing in the 1990s of a far more overtly politicized art form in the subvertising, culture jamming or tactical media movements. These movements or styles tend to classify the artists by their relationship to their social and economic contexts, since, in most countries, graffiti art remains illegal in many forms except when using non-permanent paint.

Artistic graffiti is a modern day offspring of traditional graffiti that has elevated itself from just scrawling words or phrases on a wall, to a complex artistic form of personal expression.

Graffiti found along Sg Klang, self expression by different artist.
